Kagera Sugar Limited is inviting applications from qualified, dedicated, honest, hardworking, and self-motivated Tanzanian citizens to fill available positions within the Administration (Medical) Department.
Work Location: Missenyi, Kagera Region
1. Clinical Officer (2 Positions)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic curative and preventive healthcare services, especially to communities with limited access to medical services.
- Observe medical ethics, professional standards, and healthcare guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Valid professional practising license.
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.
2. Assistant Nursing Officer (1 Position)
Duty Station: Kitengule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, monitor patients’ vital signs, assist with daily healthcare needs, and support patient recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments according to professional procedures.
- Keep accurate patient records and report any changes in patients’ conditions.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare, recovery, and preventive practices.
- Work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Holder of a minimum three-year Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery.
- Valid nursing practising license.
- At least two years of working experience, preferably in Labour Ward, Reproductive and Child Health (RCH), and Operating Theatre.
- Ability to manage obstetric emergencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with patients.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to provide compassionate care, kindness, and respect to patients.
