Zanzibar Judiciary Service Commission Announces New Job Vacancies for 2026

The Zanzibar Judiciary Service Commission (JSC) has officially announced several employment opportunities within the Judiciary of Zanzibar. Qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications for the available positions before the application deadline.

Available Positions

Applications are invited for the following vacancies:

  • Driver Grade III (ZPSB 06) – 8 Positions (Unguja)
  • Personal Secretary Grade III (ZPSD-01) – 6 Positions
  • Mediator Grade II (ZPSE-10)
  • Legal Officer Grade II (ZPSE-10)
  • District Kadhi (ZPS EX-38)
  • Regional Kadhi (ZPS EX-41)
  • Resident Magistrate (ZPS EX-41)

How to Apply

For Government Employees

Applicants currently employed by the Government should submit their applications directly to the Judiciary Service Commission offices located at the High Court of Zanzibar in Tunguu (Unguja) or the High Court in Chake Chake (Pemba) during official working hours.

Applicants must submit a handwritten application letter together with the following documents:

For Non-Government Applicants

Candidates who are not employed by the Government must submit their applications through the ZanAjira Online Recruitment Portal. All required supporting documents should be uploaded as instructed on the platform.
