We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Manager to lead and grow our digital presence across multiple social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for luxury branding, visual storytelling, fragrances, art, and interior design.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Visual Storytelling
- Capture, edit, and publish high-quality photos and short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Create engaging content featuring products, installations, behind-the-scenes moments, customer experiences, and company events.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company's luxury brand identity and visual standards.
Social Media Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute monthly content calendars and social media strategies.
- Plan and manage organic growth campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
- Coordinate digital coverage for product launches, events, and marketing campaigns.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Monitor social media performance using platform analytics.
- Prepare monthly reports highlighting key metrics, audience insights, and campaign performance.
- Use data-driven insights to improve content strategy and maximize engagement.
Trend Monitoring & Partnerships
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
- Build relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand partners to increase visibility and reach.
- Identify collaboration opportunities that strengthen the Yola brand.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide administrative support and assist with miscellaneous operational tasks as required.
- Support marketing initiatives and special projects when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Media, Communications, Art & Design, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut or similar software.
- Experience using Canva or other graphic design platforms.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must possess a valid identification document.
- Must currently reside in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
- Willingness to travel when required.
