Weights and Measures Agency (WMA) Announces 32 Volunteering Opportunities for Tanzanian Graduates 2026
The Weights and Measures Agency (WMA), an Executive Agency operating under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has officially announced 32 volunteering opportunities for qualified Tanzanian graduates. Established in 2002 under the Executive Agencies Act, Cap. 245, WMA plays a vital role in ensuring fairness and accuracy in trade through the implementation of the Weights and Measures Act, Cap. 340.
As part of its commitment to youth empowerment, skills development, and professional capacity building, the Agency is offering a twelve-month volunteer programme designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience and exposure to public sector operations. The programme presents an excellent opportunity for young professionals to enhance their competencies, gain hands-on experience, and strengthen their career prospects in various fields.
Interested applicants who meet the required qualifications are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to work with one of Tanzania’s key regulatory institutions in trade and measurement standards.
